Chawal ki Kheer- Rice Pudding
This Ayurvedic rice pudding is grounding for Vata and soothing for Pitta. It helps to improve appetite, to nourish the tissues and to maintain weight, strength and energy. It will increase Kapha so I am suggesting and alternative so that Kapha can enjoy Kheer and not pay for it later.

Chappatis -Rotis
These are a big favourite of mine. Hot off the grill they give all the satisfaction of bread but are lighter, easier to digest, without the fermented effect of yeast and are quick and easy to prepare. Have a go and after a few times you’ll be tossing them out to the hungry hordes. They’re a great hit with the kids.
